Thanks for the compliment. If anyone else is interested, the heim joins are standard sizes available through Grainger, and I had to drill the hole on the brake hub out slightly to get them to fit. The aluminum hex stock was a scrap from work, but any material could be drilled and tapped to fit the heims. I plan on using a similar setup for the rear brake actuating rod.
